In the Automotive Division, which is our core business at present, we are working to develop products that will help improve future safety performance and environmental performance as required for future automobiles, and to strengthen our proposal capabilities for technical solutions, through the provision of world-class products and services using our three core technologies of material technology, evaluation technology, and processing technology. Pioneering uncharted territory

MEIRA also has a technology development department that specializes in the development of new products.
In new areas beyond the framework of the existing product lineup, we dedicate ourselves to research that gives free rein to thoughts and insights for product development aiming at the next generation. We have a solid track record especially in the development of resin products, and fasteners using shape memory resin that makes them easy to disassemble increase disassembly efficiency and contribute to reduction of environmental burden and weight saving. We are also in charge of developing hybrid guard bolts that are used in automobiles.
